Sometimes known as the Lord Curzon Trail, the trek is quite popular among the people trekking in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. However, Kauri Pass trek happens to be a segment of the Lord Curzon Trail that concludes at Ghat. These treks are held as per-monsoon and post-monsoon treks as the Autumn season approaches.

The voyage to the brilliant goal Kuari pass will begin from Joshimath, a town in Chamoli District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Situated at a stature of 6150 Ft. it is an entryway to a few Himalayan hiking endeavors, trekking trails and explorer focuses like Badrinath, the hypnotizing sees. While coming to Joshimath, you will go by the Panchprayag or the five blessed junctures of Ganga—Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and Vishnuprayag. Along these lines, keep your cameras to capture the beauty of mountains.

Morning in the lap of Himalayas will fill you with enthusiasm, and you will start your trek today from Joshimath to Dakh to Gulling top, after breakfast. You will begin from Joshimath in the steep ascent you will witness the giant mountains in front of you, and the most pampered mountain which is known as sleeping Lady Mountain, the creation of God is just amazing.

It seems like a lying lady, with this fantastic view we will trek further to reach our destination, wherein we will cross from the Tugasi village, you will see the culture and tradition of mountains. The trek may feel little tiring because of the rough path but still wait for the view you will witness later, after approx 20 to 25 min of trek you will reach Kharchi village where you can fill your water bottles and take rest for some time.

Continue walking on the path again you will witness the outstanding Dronagiri peak that will make your heart go numb and later we will reach the Gulling top, home for the day.

Today Wake up early and get ready to conquer the Kuari Top and Kuari Pass today.

Start your trek and when the altitude is gained, the tree line recedes. The ascent is steep but once your reach the ridge top the panorama views of Himalayan peaks will leave you spell bind and the efforts will be totally rewarding.

Stare at majestic Nanda Devi and Mt. Trishul. Now, go further and stand at Kuari Top with a sense of joy and happiness. Look around at every peak visible and praise its beauty.

Now, start descending and reach Kuari Pass, do not spend much time here because better views awaits you ahead!

Ahead lies Jhandi Top, climb to this top is moderate but the views are extremely amazing and better than Kuari Pass. Spend some time at the top in happiness of successfully completing the summit. Then descend to your campsite Khullara camp.

Day 5– Trek from Khullara camp to via Gorson Bugyal to Auli / Joshimath (09 km) (5/6 Hours) over night stay hotel

Have breakfast and today you will be going back to Joshimath via Auli. After starting the trek visit Garson Bugyal, the reflection of mountains on the water will amaze you.

Come to the trail and Himalayan villages becomes visible. Reach “Garson Bugyal” a beautiful meadow with clear and splendid mountain views. Halt here for a while and again start descending.

On the way is a beautiful small temple, from here, the downhill trek gets easy. Ahead, reach the Upper Auli and head to main Auli. Continue trekking and reach there in an hour. Auli is a great snow destination in winters.

Day 6– Drive from Joshimath to Haridwar via Rishikesh by taxi (258 km) (9/10 Hours)

Today last breakfast with Team Rockclimber After breakfast leave early 6 am, have your lunch en route and you can reach Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar evening 5 to 6 Pm
